I'm a 20-year-old living in the Boston area. I am the oldest of 4 children...and probably the most 'out-there' in terms of belief and self-presentation online. (For example, much of how I describe myself is honestly every teenager's stereotype. I joke around with online friends and say i'm the "real life Mary Sue--only I don't have the perfect life.") I am currently majoring in Information Technology with a minor in East Asian Studies at Simmons College. I'm a huge supporter of fandom and online roleplaying games and I've been on livejournal since February 2004. I work as a Quality Assurance[QA] Volunteer for Organization for Transformative Works(OTW) and make cosplay jewelry and props on the side.
Writingwise, I've been participating in NaNoWriMo since 2005(never won) and was one of the assistants to the founders of the newer NaNoEdMo group(again never won). I also participated in ScriptFrenzy in 2007(again didn't win).

Summerwrite(![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) summerwrite) is a NaNoWriMo-like challenge that asks for 150,000 words in 4 months from May 1 12:00:00am through August 31 11:59:59 pm. Like NaNoWriMo, the work must be pre-edit, though you can continue a previous work(just add on 150,000 new words.)
